Nitro-BOM is an automation tool for Pro/ENGINEER that enables you to use Microsoft Excel to cleanup Pro/ENGINEER Assembly Data quickly and easily.
How does it work?
Nitro-BOM enables you to export Pro/ENGINEER Assembly and Component information to Microsoft Excel - the #1 used engineering software application in the world.
Once in Excel, you can quickly identify data formatting and compatibility problems across the entire assembly structure, make changes as desired and then directly push the data back into Pro/ENGINEER.
Easy to Configure, Multiple Exports
Nitro-BOM enables you to easily request specific pieces of parameter information to be exported from your Pro/ENGINEER Assemblies to be included in your Bill Of Materials (BOM) reports.
Nitro-BOM also automatically exports your data in multiple formats so that you can be ready for that important meeting with your information in just about any way you need. Nitro-BOM currently supports the following report formats:
- FULL BOM
- All items reported as found
- Summary BOM
- All items reported once/level with quantity
- Total Components BOM
- All items reported once - total quantity in design
- ALL PARAMETERS Report
- All parameters over all models
- Includes Parameter Name, Format, Designation Status
Export, Make Changes, Import!
Nitro-BOM uses Microsoft Excel to report results. Once you have the information, you can send it to your colleague for their review and input, then import those results directly back into Pro/ENGINEER!
